This steel safety cable is designed for hose-to-tool connections on compressed air lines. It suits workshops and job sites where pressurised hoses must be restrained to protect operators and equipment. The whip check design limits hose travel if a coupling fails or a hose separates under pressure.

125 psi rating and hose range

The cable handles hoses with inside diameters from 1/2 in to 1 1/4 in at pressures up to 125 psi. Its 1/8 in diameter steel construction meets ASTM A29 and Bureau of Mines specifications. Beyond this pressure or hose size range the cable is not rated and a different restraint method is required.

20.25 in overall length
