Standard-Duty Vinyl Tarp
This vinyl tarp measures 15 ft 2 in by 19 ft 6 in finished size and uses a 15 mil thickness for standard-duty protection. Brass grommets are spaced every 24 inches along rope-reinforced, single-stitched hems. The material weighs 13 oz per square yard and resists water, mildew, tears and UV exposure.
Weather Resistance and Handling
The waterproof vinyl blocks rain and moisture while the UV-resistant coating slows degradation from sunlight. Mildew resistance helps the tarp stay clean during damp storage. At 13 oz per square yard the fabric remains light enough for one person to position and secure without machinery.
Sustained Outdoor Exposure
Rope-reinforced edges and single-stitched seams hold tension when the tarp is tied down for long periods. Brass grommets resist corrosion through repeated wet and dry cycles. The 15 mil vinyl maintains its tear resistance and waterproof barrier across extended deployments in direct sun and heavy rain.

Questions about this item
How do I secure the tarp using the brass grommets spaced 24 in apart without tearing the vinyl?
Thread rope or bungee cords through each brass grommet at the 24 in spacing; pull evenly across the rope-reinforced hem so the single-stitched seam shares the load instead of concentrating force on one hole.
What upkeep will the 15 mil vinyl need after months of sun and rain exposure?
Rinse off dirt with water, let the mildew-resistant surface dry fully before folding, and inspect the single-stitched seams and brass grommets each season for corrosion or thread wear.
At what point does the 13 oz/sq yd fabric show stress during constant wind flapping?
The standard-duty rating means the 15 mil vinyl and single-stitched, rope-reinforced edges will fatigue first at the grommet holes if tie-downs are too tight or spacing exceeds the 24 in pattern.
