3-Inch Polyurethane Swivel Caster

This 3-inch polyurethane swivel caster supports a 125 lb load rating on a standard mounting plate. The blue non-marking wheel uses a plastic core and includes a side pedal brake for stationary positioning. It suits light-duty carts, workbenches and mobile shelving where floor protection matters.

Sustained load on the 125 lb rating

The polyurethane tread resists flat-spotting when weight rests on the caster for long periods. The plastic core maintains wheel shape under continuous load without the deformation seen in softer rubber compounds. Side pedal brake engagement stays reliable after repeated cycles.

Plate mounting with side pedal brake

Four-bolt plate attachment fits common cart and equipment frames without specialised tools. The side pedal brake actuates with foot pressure, leaving hands free during positioning. Buyers who need a total-lock brake that also locks swivel rotation cannot use this model.

Questions about this item

Will the side pedal brake hold a fully loaded 125 lb cart on a slope without drifting?

The side pedal brake locks the wheel mechanically, so a cart loaded to the 125 lb rating will stay in place on typical driveway grades.

What mounting pattern does the standard plate use so I can bolt it to my existing cart frame?

The standard plate has four pre-drilled holes spaced to match common cart frames; measure your hole centres to confirm alignment before drilling.

Will the 3 in polyurethane wheel roll smoothly over the cracked concrete where my old rubber wheels used to jam?

The hard polyurethane tread bridges small cracks and debris that snag softer rubber, while the non-marking compound protects the surface.
