Swivel Plate Caster 6 in 450 lb

This swivel plate caster supports a 450 lb load rating with a 6 in wheel diameter and 2 in wheel width. The rubber tread on a polyolefin core is non-marking and suits wheelbarrows, carts and similar yard equipment. It comes as a single wheel unit without a brake or swivel lock.

Check mounting plate and clearance

Verify that the mounting plate on your existing equipment matches the caster's plate dimensions and bolt pattern before ordering. Confirm the 6 in wheel diameter and 2 in tread width fit the available space without interfering with the frame or load bed. Ensure the 450 lb rating meets the combined weight of the cart and its typical payload.

Fits single-wheel replacement builds

The caster installs as a direct replacement on compatible wheelbarrows, garden carts or utility wagons using the existing plate bolts. Its non-marking rubber tread protects paved surfaces while the polyolefin core resists corrosion. The absence of a brake or swivel lock keeps the assembly simple for applications that do not require locking or directional control.

Questions about this item

Does the caster arrive with mounting bolts or do I need to supply my own hardware?

The caster is supplied as a single wheel unit with a top plate; mounting bolts are not included and must be sourced separately to match your cart or equipment.

Is the 450 lb load rating per caster or for a set of four?

The 450 lb rating applies to each individual caster; total cart capacity depends on the number of casters used and how evenly the load is distributed.

Will the grey thermoplastic rubber tread leave marks on a finished concrete floor?

The tread is specified as non‑marking, so it should not leave scuffs on finished concrete or other hard surfaces.
