Swivel Stem Caster 20TM36

This Zoro Select swivel stem caster carries a 275 lb load rating and uses a 4 in polyolefin wheel. The threaded stem measures 1/2 In. -13 x 1 1/2 in and mounts at a 5 in height. A Delrin bearing supports smooth rotation, while the zinc-plated steel frame resists corrosion. The non-marking tread protects floor surfaces during use.

Sanitary NSF-Listed Caster

The NSF listing makes this caster suitable for sanitary environments such as food service or healthcare carts. Builders needing a higher capacity above 299 lb should look at heavy-duty alternatives. Applications requiring a brake or locking mechanism will need a different model. The single-wheel design does not suit dual-wheel stability requirements.

Cart and Wheelbarrow Integration

The 1 1/4 in wheel width fits standard wheelbarrow and utility cart hubs. Threaded stem mounting allows direct installation into tapped holes without extra brackets. The 5 in mounting height keeps the load centre low for better handling. Polyolefin material resists water and chemicals, freeing the build from frequent wheel replacements.

Questions about this item

What stem size must my equipment have to accept this caster?

The caster fits a 1/2 in.-13 threaded hole with a 1 1/2 in. stem length.

Will the 4 in. polyolefin wheel mark the same floors as my old rubber wheels?

The wheel is non-marking, so it will not leave the black streaks that rubber wheels often leave.

How can I confirm the swivel action is correct after installation?

Turn the caster by hand; it should rotate freely without binding.
