Zoro Select Rigid Plate Caster 6 in

This Zoro Select rigid plate caster supports a 1750 lb load rating with a 6 in polyurethane wheel on an aluminum core. The non-marking tread protects floor surfaces while the rigid design provides straight-line tracking for heavy carts and equipment. No swivel lock or brake is included on this single-wheel unit.

Suits heavy-duty carts needing straight travel

Builders who need swivel steering or a locking brake should look at a different caster type. The rigid plate mounts directly to a flat surface but does not allow directional changes or stationary locking. Applications requiring floor protection without marking will benefit from the polyurethane tread.

Fits flat mounting surfaces on carts or dollies

The plate bolts to a rigid frame and frees the builder from adding a separate swivel mechanism when only linear motion is required. No brake hardware is needed, simplifying the assembly. Ensure the mounting pattern matches the plate dimensions before installation.

Questions about this item

What mounting plate pattern does this caster need on my cart?

The rigid plate caster bolts directly to a flat mounting surface using its integrated plate; verify your cart frame has matching hole spacing before installation.

Will the 6-inch polyurethane wheel roll smoothly over the same concrete my old steel wheels used?

Yes, the polyurethane tread is non-marking and designed for hard floors, so it will roll over concrete without damaging the surface.

How can I confirm the caster is seated correctly after bolting it on?

The wheel should spin freely without wobble, the plate should sit flush against the frame, and the caster should support the rated 1750 lb load without deflection.
