Tight-space Toslink cable

The VANAUX 90-degree optical audio cable uses a right-angle connector and a 360-degree rotatable body to fit behind wall-mounted TVs and soundbars where straight plugs cannot reach. It carries uncompressed PCM and compressed 5.1 to 7.1 surround formats including Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD High Resolution. The three-foot length suits typical rack or shelf distances without excess slack.

Handles surround formats up to 7.1

The fiber core transmits uncompressed stereo PCM and multichannel bitstreams such as Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD High Resolution at 5.1 and 7.1 channels. It does not carry object-based formats like Dolby Atmos or DTS:X, nor does it support higher-bandwidth lossless codecs that require HDMI eARC. Signal integrity holds across the full one-metre run with no audible dropout.

Male-to-male Toslink for direct device links

Gold-plated male connectors plug straight into source and destination ports on consoles, Blu-ray players, TVs, soundbars, amplifiers or DACs with no adapters required. The cotton-braided PVC jacket resists kinking during routing, and the angled heads relieve strain on recessed ports. Buyers needing longer runs or in-wall ratings should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 90-degree Toslink connector fit next to the other cables behind my wall-mounted TV?

The 90-degree angled connector is designed for tight spaces behind wall-mounted devices, and the 360-degree rotatable body lets you route the cable cleanly without bending the fiber.

How can I verify the cable is passing Dolby Digital Plus or DTS-HD correctly after I connect it?

Your receiver or soundbar will display the active format — such as Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD High Resolution or LPCM — confirming the uncompressed PCM or 5.1 to 7.1 surround signal is passing through without dropouts.

Does the package include any adapters or do I need to buy them separately for my soundbar and console?

The box contains only the male-to-male Toslink cable with gold-plated connectors; no adapters are included, so you simply plug each end directly into the Toslink ports on your soundbar and console.
