Compact recorder for meetings and lectures

The Vandlion VL02 provides 32 GB of built-in storage and records in WAV or MP3 formats. It is aimed at students, professionals and anyone who needs a dedicated device that will not be interrupted by calls or notifications. The aluminium body weighs 34 grams and measures 0.31 L x 0.9 W x 2.87 H inches for easy pocket carry.

Check USB-C file transfer and headphone monitoring

Verify that your computer or phone has a USB-C port for moving recordings off the device. A 3.5 mm headphone jack is available for direct playback without extra adapters. The recorder charges fully in one hour via the same USB-C connection and requires no proprietary cables or drivers.

AI noise reduction sustains clarity over long

The DSP-based AI noise reduction removes over 95 % of background sound continuously during recording. A 30-hour lithium-ion battery supports extended capture without performance drop-off. Voice activation pauses recording during silence, preserving both storage space and battery life across multi-hour use.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy headphones or a cable separately?

The packing list includes the VL02 recorder, a USB-C cable and earphones, so you can record and play back immediately without extra purchases.

Should I record in WAV or MP3 to fit more hours on the 32 GB memory?

MP3 at 160 kbps stores up to 450 hours, while WAV uses more space for uncompressed quality; choose MP3 for maximum duration.

How does the claimed 95 % AI noise reduction affect a typical meeting recording?

The on-board DSP chip suppresses most background hum and chatter, delivering clearer speech playback directly from the device.
