Deluxe Oversized Pool Float

The California Sun Deluxe Oversized Pool Float is a vinyl-coated, closed-cell foam lounger shaped like an avocado. It measures 70 inches long and 25 inches wide with 1.25-inch-thick foam that supports virtually any adult in water. Weighing 7.4 lbs, it rolls up for compact storage when not in use. The float is guaranteed never to sink and stays soft for years.

Replacing Cheap Inflatables

This float replaces disposable inflatable loungers that often pop or deflate after a few uses. The multi-dip vinyl coating resists cracking and preserves the foam core for long-term durability. The jump is worth it for anyone tired of patching leaks or buying a new float every season. It eliminates the frustration of sinking or losing buoyancy mid-relaxation.

Simple Setup and Care

No inflation is required, so the float is ready to use straight from the box. Minor cracks or holes along seam edges and inside the built-in pillow are normal by-products of the vinyl-dipping process and do not affect buoyancy or comfort. For maximum lifespan, store the float in a cool, clean spot when not in the water. Do not leave it exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods.

Questions about this item

How much deck or storage space do the 70 by 25 inch dimensions need?

The float measures 70 inches long and 25 inches wide, so allow at least that footprint plus a little clearance for rolling it up.

What is the correct way to unroll the 1.25 inch thick foam after storage?

Lay the float flat on the water and let the closed-cell foam relax for a minute before climbing on; rushing it can crease the vinyl coating.

How should the vinyl-dipped surface be cared for to maximise its lifespan?

Rinse with fresh water after each use, dry thoroughly, and store in a cool, clean spot away from direct sunlight to prevent premature cracking.
