Tenkeyless Sakura mechanical keyboard

The Varmilo VA87M Sakura is a tenkeyless mechanical keyboard built around Cherry MX Blue switches and dye-sublimated PBT keycaps in a pink and white colourway. It connects through a detachable USB 2.0 cable and delivers full NKRO over USB. The compact 87-key ANSI layout suits gamers and typists who want a smaller desk footprint without losing the function row.

Dye-sub PBT keycaps and detachable cable

Double-shot PBT legends resist shine and wear far longer than standard ABS caps, keeping the Sakura artwork crisp after extended use. The removable 50-inch USB cord simplifies transport and lets you swap in a custom cable without soldering. Plate-mounted switches add rigidity, and the keyboard weighs 2.0 lbs for a stable feel during rapid keystrokes.

Verify OS shortcut support and desk space

Windows users receive full multimedia key support, but Mac OS is not fully compatible and shortcut keys will not function as labelled. The board measures 356 mm wide by 134 mm deep and stands 33 mm high, so confirm the dimensions fit your available desk area. No palm rest is included, and the wired-only design requires a free USB-A port.

Questions about this item

Are the PBT dye-sub keycaps on the VA87M Sakura replaceable with standard Cherry MX stem sets?

Yes, the 87 ANSI-layout keys use Cherry MX Blue switches, so any MX-compatible keycap set will fit the board.

What is the first limitation you hit when gaming for hours on a tenkeyless board with full NKRO over USB 2.0?

The 50-inch detachable cable is the practical limit; USB 2.0 bandwidth and NKRO impose no keystroke bottleneck.

How loud and warm does the keyboard get during all-day typing sessions without backlighting?

Cherry MX Blue switches generate a noticeable click sound; with no backlight the board stays cool, and power draw is minimal over USB 2.0.
