Design and mounting

The Vaxcel T0550 Lexington post light features a colonial-inspired carriage house lantern design with a textured black finish and clear seeded glass panels. A curved metal lantern handle completes the traditional look. The fixture mounts on a standard 3-inch diameter post and includes all necessary hardware and instructions for installation.

Suitable settings and limitations

This wet-rated fixture is designed for outdoor yards, driveways and similar residential areas where a dusk-to-dawn photocell adds automatic operation and energy savings. Buyers who need a fixture without a built-in photocell or who require a different post diameter should consider other options.

Questions about this item

How do I choose between the 7.75-in width and the 17.75-in height for my post?

The 7.75-in width is the lantern footprint; the 17.75-in height is the overall fixture height. Both dimensions belong to the same single model, so you do not choose between them — you verify the post top can accommodate the 7.75-in width.

What does the 60-watt E26 rating mean once the lantern is installed?

It means the socket accepts one standard medium-base bulb up to 60 watts; you can use an LED equivalent that draws far less power while delivering similar brightness.

How does the ETL listing affect the wet-rated outdoor installation?

ETL listing confirms the fixture meets North American safety standards for wet locations, so it is approved for direct exposure to rain and sprinkler spray when mounted on a 3-inch post.
