Cat 5E UTP patch cable, 7 ft

This VCOM International Ltd NP511-7-WHITE cable is a Category 5E unshielded twisted-pair patch lead terminated with RJ45 connectors on both ends. It provides a standard wired link for routers, switches, PCs and other network devices at up to gigabit speeds. The white jacket is 7.0 ft long.

Moulded strain relief and CCA conductors

The RJ45 plugs are injection moulded in a single step, giving a snag-free boot that protects the latch and eases insertion. The cable uses 0.4 CCA conductors with HDPE insulation and a PVC jacket rated for weather resistance and anti-ageing. Four tightly twisted pairs meet the Cat 5E distance specification.

Suits basic copper links up to 7 ft.

This cable fits home and office patching where an unshielded 7 ft white lead is required. Buyers needing shielded cable, plenum-rated jacket, solid-core wire for in-wall installation, or lengths beyond 7 ft should look at something else.

Questions about this item

Will the RJ45 connectors or the PVC jacket on this 7.0 ft Cat 5E cable need replacement after repeated plugging?

The connectors are moulded in one piece with a humanity button design and the jacket uses dedicated PVC with strong anti-ageing ability to extend service life.

What limits throughput first on this unshielded 7.0 ft Cat 5E patch cable during sustained transfers?

The 0.4 CCA conductors and UTP construction set the bandwidth ceiling at the Cat 5E standard for the full 7.0 ft length.

Does the white PVC jacket on this 7.0 ft cable add noticeable heat or power draw when run continuously?

The cable is passive with no active components, so it generates no heat of its own and draws no power beyond the signal carried by the 8 cores.
