Industrial Strength Fastener

Velcro Industrial Strength Coins are hook-and-loop fasteners designed for demanding indoor and outdoor projects. The moulded plastic hook side and waterproof adhesive deliver a bond that is 50% stronger than traditional tape. Each pack contains four white coins ready for immediate use.

Sustained Load Performance

The waterproof adhesive maintains its grip through moisture, temperature swings and continuous stress. Moulded plastic hooks resist deformation better than woven loops, so holding power stays consistent over long periods. This makes the coins reliable for permanent mounting where vibration or weather would weaken standard tape.

Interface Limits

The system works only when a hook coin mates with a matching loop surface, which is not included in this pack. Adhesion depends on a clean, dry substrate; oily, dusty or porous materials will reduce strength. The fastener cannot bridge gaps or compensate for uneven surfaces beyond the thickness of the adhesive layer.

Questions about this item

Does the waterproof adhesive on these coins hold up when the surface gets hot in direct sun all day?

The adhesive is waterproof and rated for outdoor use, so it remains bonded through temperature cycles on metal, plastic or wood surfaces.

What surface preparation do I need before sticking the hook and loop coins in place?

Clean the mounting area with isopropyl alcohol, let it dry fully, then press each coin firmly for several seconds to activate the industrial-strength adhesive.

Will the molded-plastic hook side snag or damage delicate fabrics if I keep using the same strap on an older canvas bag?

The hook face is molded plastic rather than woven, so it grips the loop coin cleanly without catching on loose canvas threads or worn fabric edges.
