Mirror Head V Back Valve

The Velvac 705112 mirror head uses a V-back mounting style with a rectangular flat glass measuring 16 inches by 7 inches. It fits either the driver or passenger side of a truck and has no heating or motorised adjustment. The silvered glass provides a clear view for commercial vehicle operators.

Sustained visibility

The stainless-steel backing resists corrosion from road salt and moisture during long hauls. A fixed flat surface keeps the reflection consistent without electronic components that can fail over time. The rigid construction maintains alignment through vibration and temperature cycles.

Build and mounting

Stainless-steel backing material and finish protect the mirror head from rust in daily fleet use. The V-back design bolts directly to compatible West Coast mirror arms without extra brackets. The non-heated, non-motorised layout reduces wiring complexity for maintenance crews.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 16 in mirror head absorb when mounted on a truck all day?

The stainless steel backing and silvered glass mirror reflect sunlight rather than retaining heat, so surface temperature stays close to ambient even after hours of exposure.

What mounting hardware must I already have to install this V-back mirror head?

You need the existing West Coast mirror arm and bracket set that accepts a rectangular 16 in by 7 in V-back head; no motor or heating wiring is required.

Will this mirror head fit the original arms on my older West Coast mirror assembly?

Yes, the V-back design matches the standard West Coast mounting pattern used on many legacy driver and passenger side setups.
