System Summary

The Velztorm Ferrux is a pre-assembled gaming desktop built around a 12-core AMD Ryzen 9 5900X processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card with 8GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with 32GB of DDR4 RAM and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD, powered by a 750W supply and cooled by a 240mm AIO liquid cooler. Windows 10 Home is installed.

Target Audience

This system suits buyers who want a ready-to-play PC for modern titles at high settings without assembling parts themselves. The 12-core CPU also handles streaming and content creation workloads. It is not for buyers who require Bluetooth peripherals, an included display, or a newer operating system than Windows 10 Home out of the box.

Deciding Specification

The graphics card uses a PCIe 4.0 interface and provides 8GB of GDDR6 video memory. If your workflow or preferred games demand more VRAM or a different GPU architecture, this configuration will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 32 GB DDR4 configuration or one of the 16 GB, 64 GB or 128 GB options?

The 32 GB DDR4 DIMM kit suits most gaming and multitasking workloads; 16 GB is tighter for modern titles, while 64 GB and 128 GB only benefit heavy content creation or virtualisation.

What does the Ryzen 9 5900X 3.70 GHz base clock with 4.8 GHz boost and 12 cores deliver in daily use?

Twelve cores and 64 MB cache give strong frame rates in CPU-bound games and smooth performance for streaming, rendering and heavy multitasking.

How does the RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB GDDR6 PCIe 4.0 interface affect real-world gaming?

The PCIe 4.0 x16 link and 8 GB GDDR6 provide ample bandwidth for 1440p ultra settings and VR titles without saturating the bus.
