Ready-to-game desktop

The Velztorm Ferrux II CTO arrives assembled with an Intel Core i9-11900K eight-core processor, GeForce RTX 3070 graphics with 8GB GDDR6, 16GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and a 240mm AIO liquid cooler handles CPU thermals. The 750W power supply drives the complete system.

PCIe 4.0 graphics interface

The RTX 3070 connects through a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and supports DirectX 12 Ultimate for current titles. Display output is provided by a single DisplayPort connector on the card. Wireless networking uses Wi-Fi 6 AX200 with Bluetooth 5.1, while wired Ethernet is available via RJ-45.

Check monitor and peripheral needs

No monitor is included, so verify you have a display with a DisplayPort input. The chassis provides four USB 2.0 ports and one USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2 port for accessories. Internal storage expansion is possible through the configurable drive bays offered by the platform. Ensure your workspace accommodates a full-size desktop tower.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 512GB, 1TB, 2TB or 4TB SSD option for the Velztorm Ferrux II?

Choose the 1TB NVMe drive if you want a single fast boot volume with room for several large games; step up to 2TB or 4TB only if you store big media libraries locally.

What does the i9-11900K’s 5.3 GHz boost actually deliver inside this chassis?

The 8-core, 16-thread CPU can hit 5.3 GHz on light loads while the 240 mm AIO keeps thermals in check, giving snappy frame rates in CPU-bound titles.

How does the PCIe 4.0 link on the RTX 3070 affect real-world throughput?

The GPU runs at full PCIe 4.0 x16 bandwidth, so texture streaming and compute workloads never hit a bus bottleneck.
