Velztorm Nix Snow White gaming desktop

The Velztorm Nix Snow White is a pre-built gaming desktop finished in white. It ships with a 6-core AMD Ryzen 5 5600X processor, 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. A 750W power supply and air CPU cooler complete the core platform.

Upgrading from an older GTX 1050 Ti system

This configuration replaces an ageing machine that relied on the same GTX 1050 Ti graphics card. The jump is worth it when you need the 5600X’s higher clock speeds, the larger 32GB memory kit and the faster NVMe storage for general responsiveness and multitasking.

Suits 1080p esports players and productivity users

Buyers who want a tidy white chassis with ample RAM and fast storage for work and lighter games will find it a good fit. Those who need higher frame rates in modern AAA titles or want Wi-Fi and Bluetooth built in should look at something else.

Questions about this item

Will the 8.75 IN x 15.75 IN x 17.5 IN chassis fit on my desk?

The case measures 8.75 inches wide, 15.75 inches deep and 17.5 inches high, so allow at least that footprint plus clearance for rear cables and the top-mounted air cooler exhaust.

What is the correct way to seat the GTX 1050Ti in the PCIe x16 3.0 slot?

Remove the rear bracket screw, align the card's gold edge connector with the full-length PCIe x16 slot, press firmly until the retention latch clicks, then refasten the bracket screw — many builders forget the screw and the card sags.

When should I plan to clean the air cooling CPU cooler on this Ryzen 5 5600X system?

Dust the cooler fins and fan blades every three to six months; the 750W supply and GTX 1050Ti draw modest power, so thermal paste on the 5600X typically lasts several years before reapplication is needed.
