High-core i9 desktop for heavy multitaskers

The Velztorm Orix pairs a 12900K with 16 cores and 24 threads with 16GB DDR5 at 4800MHz and a 4TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed. It targets users who compile code, render video or run virtual machines and want that throughput in a single black chassis without adding parts later.

850W supply and liquid cooling keep the platform

A 360mm AIO cooler handles the CPU while the 850W unit feeds the RTX 3050 8GB GDDR6 card and all drives. One HDMI and one DisplayPort drive external monitors. Wired networking runs at 2.5Gbps over RJ-45; Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/n/ac/ax covers wireless. Front and rear ports include USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2, USB 3.1 Type-C Gen2, USB 3.1 Gen2, USB 3.0 Type-A and USB 2.0 Type-A plus audio jacks.

RGB lighting and a three-fan GPU cooler ship

The case arrives with addressable RGB illumination and the graphics card uses a WINDFORCE 3X cooler, so no extra fans or light strips are required. Velztorm opens the manufacturer box to fit the listed upgrades and tests the build before sealing it. Buyers who want a second graphics card or additional internal drive bays should look elsewhere, as the configuration is fixed.

Questions about this item

What sustained limit appears first when the i9-12900K runs all cores at 5.2 GHz under the 360mm AIO?

The 360mm AIO liquid cooler manages CPU thermals, while the 850W power supply delivers stable current to the 16-core processor and RTX 3050 during extended loads.

How loud and hot does the system get during all-day operation with the WINDFORCE 3X graphics cooler and RGB AIO?

The RTX 3050 uses WINDFORCE 3X cooling and the CPU uses a 360mm AIO, so both major heat sources have dedicated high-airflow solutions for continuous use.

Which display cable and monitor port are needed to use the HDMI and DisplayPort outputs on the RTX 3050?

The graphics card provides one HDMI and one DisplayPort connection, so a monitor with either input and the matching cable is required for video output.
