High-performance desktop for creators and gamers

The Velztorm Orix is a new gaming desktop built around a 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900K with 16 cores and 24 threads. It pairs that processor with a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card, 64GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed.

Suited to memory-heavy workloads.

The 64GB DDR5 capacity supports heavy multitasking, content creation and high-refresh gaming. The single RTX 3060 Ti fits VR-ready titles and G-SYNC displays. Buyers who need multiple graphics cards or more than 1TB of internal solid-state storage should look at other configurations.

64GB DDR5 4800MHz memory

The system ships with 64GB of DDR5 DIMMs running at 4800MHz. This capacity and speed combination determines whether the platform matches your workload. Verify that your applications benefit from this memory specification before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Will the 360mm AIO liquid CPU cooler fit inside the Velztorm Orix desktop case?

The system ships with the 360mm AIO liquid CPU cooler pre-installed in the desktop chassis so no additional clearance check is required.

How do I connect the RTX 3060 Ti to my monitor and what common step is missed?

Use the HDMI or DisplayPort outputs on the graphics card itself, not the motherboard ports, otherwise the discrete GPU will not drive the display.

When should I plan to replace the 850W power supply in this build?

A quality 850W unit typically lasts 5–7 years; replace it if you notice instability under load or if you upgrade to a significantly higher-wattage GPU.
