System summary

The Velztorm Orix is a new gaming desktop built around an Intel Core i9-12900K processor with 16 cores and 24 threads, paired with a GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card carrying 8GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with 32GB DDR5 RAM at 4800MHz and a 2TB SATA SSD, running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit out of the box.

Cooling and power

A 360mm AIO liquid cooler with RGB lighting handles the CPU thermal load while the 850W power supply feeds the complete build. The factory-assembled loop arrives filled and tested, so the system is ready to run demanding workloads without additional cooling work.

Connectivity and expansion

Network access comes through 802.11 a/b/n/ac/ax Wi-Fi and a single 2.5Gbps RJ-45 port. Video output uses one HDMI and one DisplayPort on the graphics card, while front and rear I/O provide two USB 3.0 Type-A, two USB 3.1 Gen2, two USB 2.0, one USB 3.1 Type-C Gen2, one USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2, plus separate microphone and headphone jacks.

Questions about this item

Will the 360mm AIO liquid CPU cooler on the i9-12900K require periodic fluid replacement?

The 360mm AIO liquid CPU cooler is a sealed unit designed for the lifetime of the i9-12900K; no fluid replacement is needed, only occasional dust cleaning of the radiator fans.

What thermal limit appears first when the RTX 3070 and i9-12900K run sustained loads?

The i9-12900K will reach its thermal throttle point before the RTX 3070 hits its limit under continuous all-core workloads.

How loud and hot does the 850W power supply get during all-day gaming?

The 850W supply runs within its efficiency curve, so fan noise stays moderate and exhaust heat is noticeable but not extreme during extended sessions.
