Velztorm Pilum Ryzen 7 3700X desktop

The Velztorm Pilum is a pre-built gaming desktop powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-core processor with a 3.6 GHz base clock and 4.4 GHz boost. It ships with 64GB of DDR4 memory and a 750W power supply. Windows 10 Home is installed.

Suits 1080p gaming and heavy multitasking.

The GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GDDR5 card handles mainstream titles at 1080p. Buyers who want higher resolutions or ray tracing should look at a system with a more powerful graphics card. The 4TB PCIe NVMe SSD and 6TB HDD give ample space for large libraries.

Liquid-cooled CPU holds 3.6 GHz under sustained load

A 120mm AIO liquid cooler keeps the 8-core processor at its base frequency during long sessions. The 750W supply provides headroom for the GPU and storage array. Connectivity includes 802.11n Wi-Fi, Ethernet, USB 3.1 Gen1, five USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs.

Questions about this item

Does the Velztorm Pilum need a separate monitor because it has no built-in display?

Yes, the system ships with no screen so you must connect an external monitor using the HDMI or DisplayPort output on the GTX 1050 Ti.

Can I keep using my USB 2.0 keyboard and mouse with the five USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0 ports on this desktop?

Absolutely, the four USB 2.0 ports accept legacy peripherals directly while the five USB 3.0 ports remain backward compatible for the same devices.

How do I verify the 4 TB PCIe SSD and 6 TB HDD are both recognised after first boot?

Open File Explorer or Disk Management in Windows 10 Home; both drives should appear with their full capacities listed and ready for use.
