Ryzen 7 3700X desktop for creators

The Velztorm Pilum desktop pairs an eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor with a GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card. 128GB of DDR4 memory and a 4TB NVMe SSD plus 6TB hard drive give ample space for large media libraries and multitasking workloads. Windows 10 Home is pre-installed on the black tower chassis.

Sustained load behaviour with 750W supply

The 750W power unit feeds the CPU at up to 4.4 GHz and the RTX 3050 with 8GB GDDR6 across long rendering or compile sessions. 128GB DDR4 reduces paging pressure when multiple virtual machines or containers run together. PCIe 4.0 linkage keeps the SSD pipeline full during extended sequential transfers.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

A 120mm AIO liquid cooler with RGB lighting handles the Ryzen 7 3700X heat output while the RTX 3050 uses a WINDFORCE 3X triple-fan design. Together they keep internal temperatures steady during typical gaming or productivity tasks. The 750W supply delivers headroom without running its fan at high speed under moderate loads.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 750W supply and 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler keep the Ryzen 7 3700X during all-day loads?

The 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler handles the 8-core 3.60GHz processor with 4.4GHz boost, while the 750W power supply delivers stable current to the RTX 3050 and 128GB DDR4 without extra noise.

Which display cable and monitor input do I need ready for the RTX 3050 to show a picture?

The GeForce RTX 3050 provides one HDMI and one Display Port, so have a monitor with either input and the matching cable before first boot.

Will my existing USB 2.0 keyboard, mouse and USB 3.0 external drive plug straight into this desktop?

Yes — the chassis offers four USB 2.0 ports, five USB 3.0 Type-A ports and one USB 3.1 Gen1 port for legacy and current peripherals.
