Velztorm Pilum Gaming PC Ryzen 7 3700X RTX 3060 Ti 32GB 2TB SSD 2TB HDD

Desktop Gaming PC with 8-Core Ryzen 7 3700X

This Velztorm Pilum desktop pairs a 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor with a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card for 1080p and 1440p gaming. The 8-core, 16-thread CPU runs at a 3.60 GHz base clock with a 4.4 GHz boost and 32 MB of L3 cache. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a 750 W power supply complete the core platform.

Upgrade from older quad-core

Builders moving up from a 4-core processor or a graphics card below the RTX 3060 Ti tier will see a clear jump in frame rates and multitasking headroom. The 8 GB GDDR6 GPU supports G-SYNC and DirectX 12, while the 2 TB PCIe NVMe SSD plus 2 TB 3.5-inch HDD give both fast boot space and bulk storage. The step is worth it when current hardware struggles with modern titles or streaming workloads.

Check motherboard clearance

The chassis measures 8.65 by 17 by 19.4 inches and weighs 22.25 lb, so verify desk or shelf space. A 120 mm AIO liquid cooler handles CPU thermals, but ensure the case fits your environment. Video output relies on one HDMI and one DisplayPort connector; confirm your display matches. No wireless LAN is included, so a wired Ethernet connection is required for networking.
