Gaming desktop for 1440p play

The Velztorm Pilum ships as a complete Windows 10 Home system built around an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X eight-core processor and a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a two-terabyte PCIe NVMe SSD provide capacity for modern titles and multitasking. A 750-watt power supply and a 120-millimetre AIO liquid cooler support sustained loads in a black mid-tower chassis.

Upgrade path from entry-level builds

This configuration replaces a six-core CPU and a mid-range GPU when higher frame rates at 1440p are the goal. The jump is worth it for players who stream while gaming or who run memory-heavy applications alongside their titles. Buyers who need more than two terabytes of fast storage or who require a second graphics card for compute workloads should look elsewhere.

PCIe 4.0 graphics interface limits

The RTX 3060 Ti connects through a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and delivers eight gigabytes of GDDR6 memory. Bandwidth scales with the platform, so the card will operate at PCIe 3.0 speeds if installed in an older motherboard. The system includes one HDMI and one DisplayPort output for single or dual-monitor setups.
