Vertix Mini Tower Build

The Velztorm Vertix is a pre-built gaming desktop in a Mini Tower chassis. It ships with Windows 10 Home and a 750W power supply. An AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-core processor and 64GB DDR4 memory drive the system. A GeForce RTX 3070 with 8GB GDDR6 handles graphics duties.

Upgrade Path from Entry Systems

This configuration replaces a basic office tower or an older pre-built that relies on integrated graphics and 16GB of memory. The jump is worth it when games or creative apps demand eight high-frequency cores and a discrete GPU with dedicated video memory. Builders who need a second card or more internal drive bays should look elsewhere.

Build Integration Requirements

The 750W unit powers the CPU, GPU, 64GB DDR4 kit and 2TB SATA SSD without extra cables. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 provide wireless connectivity alongside wired LAN. Front and rear I/O include multiple USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Gen1, USB 3.2 Type-C Gen2, HDMI and DisplayPort. The 120mm AIO liquid cooler manages CPU thermals inside the compact case.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler need inside the mini tower case?

The 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler fits the mini tower form factor; mount the radiator to a 120mm fan location with the tubing oriented toward the CPU block.

How do I install the 64GB DDR4 DIMM modules, and what step is often missed?

Seat each DDR4 DIMM until the retention clips click on both sides; the step often missed is enabling the memory profile in BIOS so the 64GB runs at its rated speed.

When will the 750W power supply or the 120mm AIO cooler need replacement?

The 750W power supply typically lasts several years; the 120mm AIO liquid CPU cooler may need replacement if pump noise appears or coolant loss reduces cooling performance.
