VERACITY VOR-ORL PoE LAN Extender 100m surveillance accessory

Wall-mountable PoE LAN extender for 100 m runs

This VERACITY VOR-ORL unit extends a Power over Ethernet link up to 100 metres without an external power supply. It draws power from the incoming IEEE 802.3 af or at connection and passes both data and power to the far-end device. The compact enclosure measures .9 by 1.6 by 4.1 inches and weighs 2.47 oz.

Fits into a single-cable surveillance build

Mount the extender on a wall or flat surface near the camera or access point to bridge the distance limit of standard twisted-pair cabling. It requires a compliant PoE source at the head end and a PoE-powered device at the remote end. The extender frees the installer from running separate power circuits or installing a local injector at the camera location. Buyers who need to extend beyond 100 m or who require multiple output ports will need a different solution.
