Verbatim 94836 4.7GB 4X DVD-RW single jewel case dvd media

Rewritable DVD Media

Verbatim 94836 is a single DVD-RW disc in a jewel case that provides 4.7GB of re-recordable capacity for data backups or up to 120 minutes of DVD-quality video. The disc uses Super Eutectic Recording Layer technology to minimise noise during write and rewrite cycles and improve archival stability. It is rated for 4X maximum recording speed and works with compatible DVD-RW writers.

Best For Occasional Rewritable Backups

This media suits users who need a single disc for periodic file archiving, small-scale data rotation or recording home movies that may be updated later. It is not intended for high-volume duplication, write-once archival workflows, or drives that only support DVD-R or DVD+R formats. Buyers needing larger capacity per disc or faster write speeds should consider other media types.

4X DVD-RW Speed Rating

The 4X maximum supported speed determines whether the disc matches the capabilities of the target DVD writer. Drives limited to lower speeds will still record, but cannot exceed the disc's rated performance. Verify the writer's DVD-RW specification before purchase to ensure compatibility.
