Rewritable CD media

Verbatim 95155 CD-RW discs provide 700MB of rewritable storage at up to 12X speed. Each spindle contains 25 discs certified for 4X to 12X ultra-speed rewriting. Advanced Super-Eutectic Recording layer technology supports reliable overwrite cycles. The media is designed for repeated data storage and backup tasks.

Users needing reusable optical storage

These discs suit anyone who must erase and rewrite data up to 1,000 times on the same disc. They are not for buyers who need write-once permanence or higher capacity than 700MB. Systems without a CD-RW compatible drive cannot use this media. The 25-pack quantity may exceed the needs of occasional single-disc users.

12X certified rewrite speed

The key specification is the 12X maximum rewrite speed with 4X-12X certification. This determines whether your optical drive can write to these discs at full rated performance. Drives limited to lower rewrite speeds will still function but not at the verified 12X rate. Matching your drive’s supported rewrite speed to this rating ensures optimal reliability.

Questions about this item

What comes in the 25-pack spindle and do I need any extra accessories to use the discs?

The spindle contains 25 Verbatim 95155 CD-RW discs, each with 700 MB capacity and 12x max rewrite speed. No additional accessories are required beyond a compatible CD-RW drive.

Should I choose the 12x 700 MB version or a different capacity for general data backups?

This model provides 700 MB per disc at 12x certified rewrite speed, which matches standard CD-RW capacity and the highest common rewrite rating. Choose it if you need the full 700 MB space and fastest supported rewrite performance.

How does the 12x rewrite speed and 1,000-cycle rating perform in daily use?

The discs are certified for 4x–12x ultra-speed rewriting and rated for up to 1,000 rewrite cycles, so typical drag-and-drop backups or packet-writing sessions complete at the drive's maximum supported CD-RW speed without errors.
