50 GB double-layer Blu-ray media

Verbatim 97335 discs provide 50 GB of write-once storage on BD-R DL media rated for 6× recording speed. Each spindle contains ten discs with a branded printable surface and HardCoat protection against scratches, fingerprints and dust. The blue-violet laser format suits high-definition video, audio and large data backups.

Suited for archiving large HD projects.

These discs suit users who need high-capacity, one-time recording for video masters, media libraries or long-term archives. They are not suited for workflows that require erasing and rewriting content, nor for drives that only support single-layer BD-R or DVD media.

50 GB capacity per disc

The 50 GB capacity per double-layer disc determines how much high-definition video or data fits on a single piece of media, directly affecting the number of discs required for a project.

Questions about this item

What recording speed does the 6X BD-R DL media support?

The discs are rated for a maximum recording speed of 6X, which is the upper limit the media will accept in a compatible BD-R drive.

How are the 10 packs of discs physically packaged?

All 10 packs are supplied on a spindle, keeping the discs stacked and protected until they are needed.

What is the correct way to record on these BD-R DL discs?

BD-R DL is a one-time record format; write the data in a single session because the disc cannot be erased or rewritten afterward.
