Rack-mountable UPS for 120 V environments

The Vertiv GXT5-750LVRT2UXL is a new lead-acid uninterruptible power supply designed for rack or external mounting in a 2U form factor. It delivers 750 VA and 750 W of continuous output at 120 V AC. The unit suits servers, network gear and edge equipment that require clean, battery-backed power in standard IT racks. It is not intended for loads that exceed its 750 W rating or for installations needing a different input voltage.

Capacity and headroom at 750 W

The UPS supports a full 750 W load, so it comfortably handles single workstations, switches or small server nodes within that power envelope. Runtime scales with the connected load; lighter draws extend battery time while heavier draws reduce it to the minimum reserve. Six output connectors allow multiple devices to share the same backup circuit. Loads above 750 W will trip the unit, so it cannot support larger multi-node racks or high-density blades.

RS-232 and USB management interfaces

Communication is provided through RS-232 and USB ports for monitoring, graceful shutdown and firmware updates. These two interfaces are the only management pathways built into the unit. Environments that rely solely on network-based management cards or other protocols will need a different model or an accessory not included here.
