Convertible Rack/Tower UPS

The Vertiv PSI5-1500RT120N is a 1500VA line-interactive UPS designed for network closets, small data centres, and critical IT infrastructure. It delivers pure sine wave output on battery to protect servers, network workstations, routers, and VoIP systems. The rotatable LCD display and convertible form factor allow flexible installation in either rack or tower orientation.

Pure Sine Wave Output

Pure sine wave output on battery ensures compatibility with sensitive power supplies found in modern servers and networking gear. Line-interactive topology regulates voltage without draining the battery during minor fluctuations. Extended runtime capability is available by connecting external battery cabinets for longer backup duration during outages.

IS-UNITY-SNMP Card Included

The bundled IS-UNITY-SNMP communication card enables remote power management and environmental monitoring over the network. Vertiv IntelliSlot compatibility allows integration with additional management cards for expanded monitoring capabilities. Six NEMA 5-15R outlets provide protected power connections for multiple devices.

Questions about this item

How do I install the UPS in a rack versus a tower orientation, and what step is often missed with the LCD?

Mount the included rails for rack use or attach the tower feet for upright placement, then rotate the LCD module so the display reads correctly in the chosen orientation.

Which user-replaceable part will need service first, and how is it accessed?

The internal battery cartridge is hot-swappable; open the front bezel, disconnect the old cartridge, and slide in the new one without powering down the load.

What limits runtime during an extended outage when the UPS is fully loaded?

The 1500 VA rating and internal battery capacity set the baseline runtime; adding external battery cabinets extends it, but the UPS cannot exceed its rated output.
