Secure four-port KVM for classified work

The Vertiv Cybex SC945DPH-400 is a secure KVM switch built to the Common Criteria Protection Profile for Peripheral Sharing Device v.4.0. It lets one operator control four isolated computers from a single console while enforcing unidirectional data flow across keyboard, mouse, video and audio paths. Each computer port is processed independently to prevent data leakage between security domains. The unit is designed for government and defence environments that require hardware-enforced isolation.

Check console video and USB ports before ordering

Your console must provide two display outputs that are either DisplayPort or HDMI, because the switch uses universal video connectors that accept either standard on the same physical ports. You will also need two USB 2.0 Type A ports for keyboard and mouse, one USB 2.0 Type A port for the DPP function, and a 3.5 mm speaker jack for analog audio. Each target computer requires matching DP or HDMI video, a USB 2.0 Type B port for keyboard and mouse, a USB 2.0 Type B port for DPP, and a 3.5 mm speaker connection.

Passive cooling with no fan noise in normal use

The switch operates without internal fans, so it adds no audible noise to a secure room. Power is drawn from the connected computers through the USB 2.0 links, eliminating the need for an external power supply and keeping heat output minimal. The metal chassis dissipates the small thermal load across its 13.70 by 5.00 by 2.20 inch enclosure. This fanless design supports continuous operation in quiet, access-controlled spaces.

Questions about this item

Does the Vertiv SC945DPH-400 include cables to connect four computers, or must they be purchased separately?

The package contains the KVM switch and console cables for the shared keyboard, mouse, dual monitors, audio and CAC reader; four sets of computer cables with USB Type-B, dual video and audio connectors are sold separately.

The switch has two universal video ports per side — should I choose DisplayPort or HDMI cables for my 4K monitors?

Each physical port accepts either DisplayPort or HDMI natively, so use the cable type that matches your monitor and computer outputs; both support UHD 4K at 60 Hz without adapters.

Will the 3840x2160 at 60 Hz rating hold when I switch between four PCs with different graphics cards?

Yes, each of the four isolated ports maintains a native 4K 60 Hz video path independently, so resolution and refresh rate stay constant regardless of which computer is active.
