Desk-Sized Rectangle Protector

The 24 by 48 inch rectangle covers a standard desk or dining table with a 1.5 mm frosted PVC sheet. It shields the surface from scratches, spills, hot cups and daily wear while keeping the wood grain visible. The transparent material suits home offices, dressing tables and nightstands that need durable, food-safe coverage. Weighing 3.2 lbs, it stays flat without adhesive.

Limits of 1.5 mm PVC Thickness

At 1.5 mm the sheet resists dents from light objects but will not stop damage from heavy impacts or sharp knives dragged across the surface. High heat from pans straight off a hob can still mark the material despite its temperature resistance. The frosted finish reduces glare but lowers clarity compared with glossy films. It is not a structural reinforcement for weak tabletops.

Exact Fit Decides Suitability

The protector is cut to 609.6 by 1219 mm with no trim lines printed on the sheet. If your tabletop differs from those dimensions by more than a few millimetres, edges will overhang or leave gaps that collect debris. Buyers who need a custom shape or a larger continuous run cannot use this single piece as supplied.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 24 x 48 inch size or a different dimension for my tabletop?

This model is supplied only as a 24 x 48 inch / 609.6 x 1219 mm rectangle; choose it if those measurements match or slightly exceed your surface, otherwise look for another size.

What does the 1.5 mm thickness mean for daily use on a desk?

At 1.5 mm the PVC sheet is rigid enough to resist dents from cups and cutlery while staying flexible for easy rolling and storage.

How does the PVC material perform as a waterproof barrier?

The PVC construction is fully waterproof and stain-resistant, so spills wipe clean without soaking through to the table underneath.
