This confined space rescue tripod kit provides a complete fall protection system for industrial and utility work. It includes the tripod, a 350 lbs full-body harness, a fall arrester, a blower, and a gas detector. All components pack into a black storage bag for transport to the job site.

98 ft Cable and 8 ft Leg Limits

The 6 mm steel cable extends 98.43 ft to reach deep access points while supporting a personal lifting load of 397 lbs. The horizontal towing capacity reaches 2600 lbs for material handling. Tripod legs adjust from 5.25 ft to 8.04 ft to fit varied entry diameters and ground conditions.

Upgrades From Basic Tripod And Separate Gear

This kit replaces a standalone tripod plus separately sourced harness, winch, blower, and gas monitor. The jump is worth it when a single integrated package reduces setup time and ensures component compatibility for confined space entry teams.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 2600 lbs horizontal tow model or the 397 lbs personal lift version?

This kit is a single configuration: the tripod is rated for 2600 lbs horizontal towing, while the 6 mm cable and fall arrester limit personal lifting to 397 lbs. Both figures apply to the same unit.

How much weight can actually be lifted when the tripod is set up on site?

The 6 mm steel cable and fall arrester restrict live-person lifting to 397 lbs; the 2600 lbs rating applies only to horizontal pulling, not vertical rescue loads.

What connection standard does the 98 ft cable use and what does it limit?

The 0.24 in diameter steel cable terminates in a hook that engages the tripod’s alloy-steel pulley and the included fall arrester, capping personal lifts at 397 lbs.
