Ice Production and Storage

This undercounter ice maker produces up to 80 lbs of ice in 24 hours and stores up to 26 lbs. It forms 40 square cubes per cycle, each measuring 0.87 inch on every side. A full batch is ready in as fast as 15 minutes. The unit suits high-demand home bars or small commercial settings.

Sustained Operation

The compressor runs at a rated 65 dB(A) during continuous ice-making cycles. Triple-layer insulation holds the bin temperature so cubes stay crisp between harvests. Nickel-plated copper trays resist scale build-up over repeated 24-hour runs. Electric drainage removes melt water automatically without a floor drain.

Installation and Common Issues

The reversible stainless-steel door mounts left- or right-hinged with the supplied full-length handle. Allow 50 mm clearance on the sides and top for ventilation whether built-in, freestanding or undercounter. The box includes water hose, connector, ice scoop and manual. Improper levelling or restricted airflow are the typical causes of slow production or excess noise.

Questions about this item

How loud is the 65 dB noise level when the HBZB-36F runs continuously?

The unit is rated at 65 dB(A), which is comparable to a normal conversation or background music; the triple-layer insulation helps contain sound during all-day operation.

What plumbing connections must already be in place for the electric drainage and water supply?

You need a standard water line for the supplied hose and connector, plus a powered drain outlet or nearby floor drain for the built-in electric drainage pump to discharge wastewater.

Will the 80 lbs daily output and 26 lbs bin keep up with an older bar fridge that only makes a few pounds of ice?

Yes, the HBZB-36F produces up to 80 lbs of square cubes per 24 hours and stores 26 lbs, far exceeding typical fridge ice makers and reducing the need for supplemental ice.
