VEVOR Hook and Loop Tape 16 ft x 1.5 in Black

16 ft Hook and Loop Tape for Home and Craft Use

This 16 ft roll of heavy-duty hook and loop tape provides a strong, reusable fastening solution for home, office, school, and crafting projects. The nylon and TPE construction supports a maximum load of 10 lbs, making it suitable for hanging pictures, mounting tools, or securing lightweight objects. Its self-adhesive backing sticks firmly to smooth surfaces such as tiles, metal, and plastic. The tape can be cut to any length or shape for custom installations.

Sustained Hold on Smooth Surfaces

The high-viscosity adhesive maintains a secure bond under a continuous load of up to 10 lbs without slipping or loosening over time. Unlike temporary fasteners, the nylon hook and loop material withstands repeated opening and closing cycles while retaining its grip strength. Performance remains consistent on smooth, clean substrates like metal, plastic, and tile where the adhesive achieves full contact. Rough, porous, or dusty surfaces will reduce the long-term holding capacity.

Adhesive Limits and Mechanical Constraints

The tape roll measures 16 ft long by 1.5 in wide, weighing 0.39 lbs with dimensions of 4.5 x 4.5 x 1.5 in for storage. The adhesive is designed specifically for smooth surfaces and will not bond reliably to textured walls, fabric, or uneven materials. Maximum shear strength is rated at 10 lbs / 5 kg; loads exceeding this limit risk failure regardless of surface preparation. The product includes one continuous roll that must be cut to size before application.
