20 x 14 in cordierite pizza stone

This rectangular cordierite pizza stone measures 20 x 14 x .67 in and withstands up to 1450°F without warping. Its porous structure distributes heat evenly while absorbing excess moisture from dough for crispier crusts. A PP plastic scraper is included for cutting and cleanup.

Check oven or grill dimensions before ordering

Ensure your oven rack or grill grate accommodates a 508 x 355 mm surface with at least 17 mm vertical clearance. The stone weighs 5.30 kg, so verify the shelf can support the load. No seasoning is required; simply rinse with warm water once cool.

Replaces thinner ceramic stones or metal pans

Upgrade when your current surface cracks under high heat or leaves pizza bases soggy. The cordierite material stores heat longer, cutting preheat time and eliminating off-flavours. It is not suited for buyers needing a non-stick coating or a lighter-weight alternative.
