  • Connect two VE.Direct devices with a 32.81 ft cable

  • 90° angle on one end reduces cable strain
  • Available in multiple lengths for flexible installations

What this cable connects

The 32.81 ft Victron Energy VE.Direct cable links two VE.Direct devices, such as a GX unit and another Victron product with a VE.Direct port. One end uses a 90 degree angle connector, the other end is straight. It is sold new in the exact length stated.

Practical limits of the VE.Direct link

The fixed 32.81 ft length sets the maximum separation between the two devices. Only VE.Direct ports are supported; the cable cannot connect to other interfaces. The 90 degree plug eases routing in tight spaces but does not change the electrical specification of the link.

The specification that decides fit

The single deciding factor is the 90 degree connector on one end. If your installation requires a right-angle plug at the GX device or at the remote unit, this cable matches that need; if both ends must be straight, the alternative straight model is the correct choice.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 32.81 ft cable with the 90 degree connector or a different length?

Choose the 32.81 ft version when the distance between your Victron Energy devices requires that exact reach; the cable is also offered in other lengths if you need a shorter or longer run.

What does the 32.81 ft length mean once the cable is installed between two units?

It gives you just over ten metres of separation between a GX device and another VE.Direct product, with one right‑angle plug that fits tight spaces without stressing the port.

Which interface does the VE.Direct connector use and what does it limit in practice?

The cable uses the proprietary VE.Direct interface, so it only links Victron Energy equipment that has a VE.Direct port; it cannot connect to non‑Victron or differently keyed devices.
