Ready-to-install 260W replacement lamp

This Video7 VPL1687 module arrives as a complete bulb-and-housing assembly so you can swap it into the projector without handling a bare lamp. No tools or alignment steps are required beyond opening the lamp door and seating the unit. The only common issue is forgetting to reset the projector’s hour counter after installation, which can leave the replacement warning active.

Manufactured to ISO 9001 quality standards

Every version offered — whether sourced from Philips, Osram, Ushio, Phoenix, Iwasaki or Matsushita, or built by a leading third-party maker using genuine OEM parts — is tested for beam performance, ignition voltage, connections and run-time before it ships. This consistency means the lamp behaves predictably from the first hour through the rated 3,000-hour life.

Steady output through the rated 3,000 hours

The 260W P-VIP bulb maintains stable brightness and colour balance during extended sessions rather than fading after a short warm-up period. Ignition remains reliable across repeated power cycles and the lamp sustains its specified voltage range throughout the full service interval. Not suited for users who need a higher-wattage module or a longer-rated lamp than 3,000 hours.

The projector should display a stable, uniform image with no flickering or colour shift, and the lamp-hour counter will begin counting from zero toward the rated 3000 Hrs.

What comes in the box and what must I buy separately?

The module includes a new P-VIP 260W bulb pre-assembled in its housing, ready to fit; no additional parts or tools are required for installation.

Which of the available VPL1687 versions should I choose?

Three OEM variants come directly from Philips, Osram, Ushio, Phoenix, Iwasaki or Matsushita, while the compatible version uses genuine OEM parts from a leading third-party maker; all meet ISO 9001 quality checks.
