VideoSecu CBRG1793-N1 BNC patch cable

The VideoSecu CBRG1793-N1 is a 3-foot BNC male to BNC male patch cable built with RG179 coaxial construction. Fully moulded nickel connectors provide secure signal retention for analogue video or Ethernet-over-coax links. The short black cable suits permanent rack or wall installations where a tidy, fixed-length run is preferred.

Installers needing a short pre-terminated BNC link

Technicians wiring CCTV cameras, DVR inputs or coax-based Ethernet segments within a rack or between adjacent enclosures will find the 3-foot length convenient. Installers who require longer runs, plenum-rated jackets or right-angle connectors should look at alternative cable assemblies.

RG179 coaxial construction

The cable uses RG179 coax terminated in fully moulded nickel-plated BNC male plugs on both ends. This construction determines attenuation, flexibility and connector durability for the intended short-distance surveillance or data application.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy any adapters?

The package contains one 3 ft RG179 BNC patch cable with male BNC plugs on both ends. No extra adapters are required for a straight BNC-to-BNC connection.

Should I choose this 3 ft RG179 cable or a longer version?

Select the 3 ft length when the camera and recorder are close together; a longer cable is only needed if the run exceeds three feet.

What does the RG179 designation mean for my CCTV installation?

RG179 identifies the thin coaxial construction used here; it carries standard analogue or HD-over-coax video signals over short distances with the fitted BNC connectors.
