VideoSecu CAT 5E 1000 ft Cable

This VideoSecu CBUT1W-N1 cable supplies 1000 feet of CAT 5E UTP wiring for structured network installations. It contains four unshielded pairs of 24 AWG solid bare copper conductors inside a white PVC jacket. The cable is rated to 350 MHz and exceeds TIA/EIA-568-B and ISO/IEC 11801 requirements. It comes in an easy-pull box for convenient deployment.

Installers Running Gigabit Links

The cable supports 10 Base-T, 100 Base-T and 1000 Base-T networks, making it suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and digital CCTV camera runs. Builders who need shielded cable for high-interference environments or outdoor burial-rated jacket should look at a different product. Buyers wanting pre-terminated patch cords or shorter lengths will also need another solution.

350 MHz Bandwidth Rating

The 350 MHz bandwidth rating is the key specification that determines whether this cable meets the performance needs of a given installation. It confirms the cable can handle Gigabit Ethernet signal frequencies with margin. Verify that your project specification calls for CAT 5E performance at this frequency before purchasing.
