Two 100 ft all-in-one cables carry BNC video and 2.1 mm DC power for 960P, 720P, AHD, CVI, TVI and analog cameras, with RCA adapters included
This pre-made extension cord combines a BNC male video connector with a 2.1mm centre-positive power plug in a single 100ft run. It transmits analogue video signals and supplies DC power to compatible security cameras. The cable uses pure copper conductors and includes two BNC-to-RCA adapters in the package. Each pack contains two 100ft cables ready for plug-and-play installation.
The cable suits installers who need to extend the distance between a DVR and 960P, 720P, AHD, CVI, TVI or 960H analogue cameras rated up to 1000TVL. It is not for buyers who require IP-network camera connectivity, fibre-optic transmission, or cables longer than the supplied 100ft length. Systems using power connectors other than 2.1mm centre-positive will need a different lead.
The decisive specification is the combined connector pair: a BNC male video end and a 2.1mm centre-positive DC power plug. This fixed interface determines whether the cable mates with the camera and DVR ports on site. If the equipment uses a different video connector or a different power jack size, this cable will not fit without additional adapters.

Connect the BNC male plug to the DVR video input and the 2.1mm centre-positive plug to the camera power socket; the step often missed is seating the BNC twist-lock fully until it clicks, otherwise the video signal drops out.
Inspect the BNC and 2.1mm connectors annually for corrosion or looseness; replace the cable if the copper conductors show green oxidation or the jacket cracks, which can degrade the 960P/720P video path.
Voltage drop on the 2.1mm power pair becomes the limiting factor first; at 100ft the DC supply may fall below the camera's minimum, causing night-vision LEDs to flicker or the camera to reboot.
