Four-camera analog kit

This pack contains four white dome cameras built for indoor surveillance. Each unit uses a colour CCD sensor and a fixed 3.6mm wide-angle lens to deliver 420 TV lines of resolution over a wired BNC connection. The cameras are designed to work with an analog DVR recorder, which is not included. They are not compatible with HD or IP-based systems.

Low-voltage wired operation

Every camera draws power from the supplied 4-channel DC 12V supply through the included video-power cables. With a minimum illumination rating of 1.0 Lux at F1.2, automatic white balance and automatic backlight compensation, the sensors maintain usable images when lighting changes. No wireless radios or network interfaces are present, so there is no wireless signal to manage or secure.

Fixed-lens indoor coverage

The 3.6mm lens gives a broad field of view suited to room-scale monitoring. Each dome can be manually rotated 360 degrees horizontally and tilted 90 degrees vertically during installation to aim the fixed lens. The kit includes four cameras, one power supply, four combined video-power cables and a warning sticker. Buyers who need wireless connectivity, HD resolution or outdoor-rated housings should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the dome camera and adjust its view, and what step is often missed?

Mount the camera using its base, then manually rotate it 360 degrees horizontally and tilt 90 degrees vertically to aim the 3.6mm wide-angle lens; the step often missed is tightening the adjustment screws after positioning so the view does not shift.

What maintenance or replacement will the 4-pack cameras and included 4CH power supply need over time?

The Color CCD cameras have no user-serviceable parts; plan to replace the 12V DC power supply if it fails, and periodically clean the dome cover to maintain image clarity at 420 TVL resolution.

What limit appears first when the cameras run continuously on the supplied 12V DC power supply?

The 4-channel power supply's total current capacity is the first limit; if combined camera draw exceeds its rating, voltage will drop and video quality at 420 TVL will degrade.
