Two-Camera Analog Kit

This VideoSecu DMV23P2 kit supplies two dome cameras for wired CCTV systems. Each unit uses a 1/3" Sony Effio CCD sensor and connects via BNC video cable to a compatible DVR. The cameras are not wireless and do not work with HD or IP recorders. They suit installers expanding an existing analog infrastructure.

Sustained Outdoor Operation

Weatherproof housings allow continuous indoor or outdoor deployment without extra enclosures. Seventeen infrared LEDs provide night illumination while the varifocal 3.5~8 mm lens lets installers set a fixed field of view during commissioning. Day/night switching toggles automatically between colour and monochrome output. The 700 TVL resolution remains stable across the 12 V DC supply range.

Bracket-Mounted Wiring

A heavy-duty bracket conceals the video and power cables inside its structure, reducing tamper risk and simplifying cable routing. Installers must supply a separate 12 V DC source and a DVR with BNC inputs; neither is included. The cameras cannot join modern HD, IP or wireless platforms, so buyers needing those technologies should select a different product type.

Questions about this item

How much power does each camera draw on its DC 12V supply during continuous day and night operation?

Each dome camera runs on DC 12V; the 17 infrared LEDs activate automatically at night, so power draw rises after dark but the supply voltage stays at 12V.

What recorder and cabling must I already have to use these two cameras?

You need an analog CCTV DVR with BNC inputs and a separate DC 12V power source for each camera; the cameras output wired BNC video and are not compatible with HD or wireless systems.

Will the 3.5~8 mm varifocal lens on these cameras match the field of view of my existing 700TVL analog cameras?

Yes, both deliver 700 TVL over a BNC connection, so the varifocal 3.5~8 mm lens can be adjusted to match the angle of view of other 700TVL analog cameras in the same system.
