Eight-camera CCTV kit with varifocal lenses

This kit contains eight wired dome cameras that connect to a DVR through BNC cables. Each unit uses a 1/3" Sony Effio CCD sensor to deliver 700 TV lines of horizontal resolution. A 3.5-8 mm varifocal lens lets you adjust the field of view during installation. Seventeen infrared LEDs on every camera provide night vision in monochrome mode.

Suits installers building a multi-point analog

Buyers who need a complete set of cameras for a single DVR will find the eight-unit pack convenient. The package also includes eight 12 V power supplies and a warning sticker. This kit is not for users who want IP networking, wireless connectivity or high-definition digital recording. It cannot connect to modern HD or NVR platforms.

Check DVR compatibility and cabling before ordering

Your recorder must accept analog BNC video inputs and supply 12 V DC power to each camera. Verify you have enough BNC cable runs to reach all eight mounting locations. The varifocal lens requires manual focus adjustment at the camera, so plan for ladder access during setup.

Questions about this item

What DVR connection does each camera need for the BNC video output?

Each camera connects to a CCTV security DVR with a BNC video input and a 12 V DC power source.

Will the 3.5-8 mm varifocal lens cover the same view as my older fixed 6 mm cameras?

The varifocal lens adjusts from 3.5 mm to 8 mm, so you can match a 6 mm field of view or widen or narrow it as needed.

How can I confirm the 700 TVL resolution is active after installation?

Check the DVR live view — daytime video should be in colour and night video in black and white with the 17 IR LEDs illuminated.
