What it is and who it fits

This two-pack of black dummy dome cameras is built for homeowners or small-business operators who want a visible deterrent without the cost or wiring of a live CCTV system. Each unit mimics the look of a real infrared dome, complete with a fake lens and simulated IR illuminators, and a built-in flashing LED runs continuously to suggest active recording. They mount on walls or ceilings in minutes using the included brackets and a warning sticker is supplied for extra presence.

Capacity and headroom

The cameras provide visual deterrence only; they capture no footage, stream no video and connect to no recorder or network. The flashing LED operates as long as the two AA batteries (not included) hold charge, so the realistic appearance lasts until the cells run out. They are not suitable for anyone who needs actual surveillance evidence, remote viewing, motion alerts or any recording capability.

Power requirement that decides fit

Each camera requires two AA batteries to drive the flashing LED; there is no mains adapter, PoE or solar option in the box. If you cannot commit to periodic battery changes or need a unit that runs from existing cabling, this product will not meet the need.

Questions about this item

Will the flashing light on the DMY05K2-N1 look convincing next to my real wired cameras?

How can I confirm the flashing light is operating once the cameras are mounted?

After inserting two AA batteries, a steady blinking flash will be visible from the front lens, indicating the internal circuit is working.

What comes in the box and what must I purchase separately to power the cameras?

The package includes two dummy dome cameras with mounting brackets and a warning sticker; two AA batteries per camera are required but not supplied.
