Realistic deterrent

The VideoSecu DMYIRV2-N1 is a white dummy CCTV camera designed to imitate a working bullet-style surveillance unit. It includes a continuous flashing light and fake infrared LEDs so the housing looks active at night. The kit ships with a mounting bracket and a free warning decal for immediate visual deterrence. No recording or networking functions are present.

Battery-powered flashing light

This unit replaces the need for a powered camera where only a visible presence is required. It upgrades a bare wall or ceiling by adding a convincing surveillance appearance without wiring or a recorder. The jump is worth it when you want a low-cost deterrent and can accept that no footage will be captured.

Check mounting surface and battery plan

Verify that the chosen wall or ceiling can accept the supplied bracket and screws. Confirm you have two AA batteries available because they are not included and the flashing light will not operate without them. Ensure the location is visible to approaching visitors so the dummy camera achieves its deterrent purpose.
