Passive Video Balun Pair for CCTV

The VideoSecu VB201 is a passive transceiver pair that carries analog video over Cat 5 or better twisted-pair cable. Each unit converts a BNC male connector to a terminal block for quick wiring. No external power is required, making installation simple for new or retrofit surveillance runs.

Transmission Distance Over UTP

Monochrome signals travel up to 1000 feet and color signals up to 800 feet on unshielded twisted-pair wire. The passive design rejects EMI and RFI better than 75 ohm coaxial cable while lowering overall cable cost. Works with NTSC, PAL and SECAM cameras, multiplexers, switchers and monitors.

Suited For Analog Camera Installers

Installers extending analog CCTV links over structured cabling will benefit from the power-free operation and interference rejection. Buyers needing amplified reach beyond 1000 feet or digital IP camera connectivity should look at active or network-based alternatives instead.
