Analog CCTV Camera

This wired dome camera uses a 1/3 inch SONY CCD sensor to deliver 600 TV lines of horizontal resolution. It is designed for indoor or outdoor installation with a vandal-proof aluminium housing and 3.6 mm wide-angle lens. The unit ships with a power supply and warning sticker.

Check DVR Compatibility

The camera outputs analog video over a BNC connection and requires a traditional DVR recorder, coaxial cable and monitor to function. It will not work with modern HD or IP recorder systems and cannot operate as a standalone device. Verify that your existing recorder accepts standard analog signals before ordering.

Thermals and Power

The camera draws power from the included 12 V DC supply and uses infrared LEDs for night vision up to 65 feet. The sealed aluminium dome is rated for weather-resistant outdoor use and passively dissipates heat without a fan. In normal operation the housing remains at ambient temperature and produces no audible noise.

Questions about this item

Does the package include everything needed to run the camera or must I buy a DVR and cables separately?

The box contains the dome camera, a 12 V power supply and a warning sticker. A traditional analog DVR, BNC video cable and monitor are not included and must be purchased separately.

Is the 3.6 mm wide-angle lens fixed or can I swap it for a different focal length?

The lens is a fixed 3.6 mm wide-angle unit; it is not interchangeable.

What does the 600 TVL resolution mean for recorded footage on an analog DVR?

The camera delivers up to 600 TV lines of horizontal resolution, which an analog DVR records as standard-definition video; it will not produce HD or megapixel images.
