Product Identity

The VideoSecu VD6HWLKC is a wired analog dome camera with a 1/3" Sony Effio CCD sensor delivering 600 TV lines of resolution. It features a fixed 3.6mm wide-angle lens and 28 IR LEDs for night vision up to 24 metres. The vandal-proof housing is rated for indoor and outdoor use and operates on 12V DC power supplied by the included adapter.

Compatibility Check

Verify your recorder accepts analog CVBS input via a BNC connector because this camera does not support HD analog formats such as AHD, TVI or CVI. You must run a coaxial video cable and provide 12V DC power at the camera location; the package includes a power supply and a combined video-power cable. Ensure your DVR has an available channel and that the 3.6mm field of view covers the desired area.

Ideal Buyer

Suits installers adding a single rugged dome to an existing 960H or D1 DVR system where a wide-angle overview is needed. Not for buyers who want IP networking, megapixel resolution or wireless installation. Also unsuitable for systems that require motorised zoom, audio capture or advanced analytics such as motion zones.
